What is Archery Tag?
Archery Tag is a combat sport first invented in America and uses the combination of archery equipment and paintball rules to create the newest thrill seekers choice of sport. Archery Adventures were one of the first Archery Tag providers in the UK and the first in East Anglia to have this great new activity.
We were the first provider of Archery Tag in East Anglia and are pleased to say our previous customers include EDF Energy, Scrutton Bland, Suffolk County Council, UCS Campus Ipswich as well as many more. We can also bring Archery Tag to you as a private session. We have a range of venues across Suffolk, servicing Beccles, Ipswich, Lowestoft, Halesworth, Southwold and Woodbridge, both indoors and outdoors but we can also come to you anywhere in the country. |
S.A.F.E ArrowsThe patented S.A.F.E. Archery™ Arrow, with our exclusive Safe Nock™ and soft foam tip, offer the same flight characteristics of a standard arrow yet is much safer. Being "tagged" feels similar to being hit by a soft ball, leaving no marks/bruises. The arrow combined with the mask makes Archery Tag a very safe and enjoyable activity.

Archery Tag VS Paintball
Game Rules
If you get hit, you are eliminated and must stand off to the side; please leave your mask on while exiting the field for safety purposes. If a team-mate either catches an arrow or knocks one off the five spot targets completely out of the target on the opposing team, then an eliminated player on your team may re‐enter the game in the order they were eliminated. Continue playing this way either until all targets or players are eliminated on one team. All body hits count. We do not encourage head shots however they occasionally happen. If the referee notices someone continuously shooting at the head, they will be asked to leave the field and not be able to return and play for this event. If an arrow hits your bow it does not count, if it bounces off the ground or an obstacle first, it does not count. This is based on an honour system, however the referee has the final say and there will be no arguments or you will be asked to leave the field.
Safety zone
This area is to gather arrows and return to your combat area. It is also designed to maintain a safe shooting distance between players. You cannot shoot or be shot in this area; if this happens it will not count.
